Whenever I received my initial order, I was disappointed to discover that the comforter was seriously defective. I reached out to Bare Home customer service (with multiple pictures) and was greatly impressed by their quick response and concern for the issues. It was obvious from the first interaction that this company actually cares about its customers, and they want to address issues at the root (i.e., the manufacturer). After numerous messages back and forth (me asking a million questions), I felt reassured that the comforter I'd received was the ‘exception’ and not the ‘rule’. So, I accepted the refund and decided to give it another try. I’m so glad I did!!Betsy (world’s best Customer Service Manager) was right! The second comforter has none of the problems of the first. I absolutely love it! I’ve already washed and dried it twice… and there are absolutely no loose threads! It is likely the softest comforter we’ve ever owned. The color is great. The weight is great. The size is great. I love it!!At this point, my only disappointment is 100% my fault. I’ll share my failure to hopefully help someone else. I ordered the oversized queen. Our dryer is 9.5 years old and only 7.2 cu ft. Admittedly, the comforter must be crammed into it so tight that it’s a miracle it can be dried at all. I always dry comforters on low (as is recommended for this one) for about an hour, take it out, adjust it to shift the wetter parts toward the outside of the ball, cram it back in, and then repeat the process. When drying this comforter the second time, I got busy and totally lost track of how many times I’d readjusted it. It felt dry, but not thinking about the possibility of any negative consequences, I shoved it back in for another hour ‘just to be safe’. When I pulled it out later and began to make our bed, I noticed a rather large spot that looks almost like the dryer sheet and the comforter's fabric attempted to fuse together in a fiery furnace. So, now our soft, fluffy, beautiful comforter has a burnt, hard, crispy section just near our heads. :-(As I said, the above was 100% my fault. I should have known better. So, please learn from my mistake! This is super soft and stays cool. Can't sleep with a heavy comforter but I don't even notice this on me. Not sure about the wrinkle free, we washed as soon as we got it and it was wrinkle Wright out of the dryer. Still a great buyI just received and put on my 1st set of bare bedding (sheets and comforter), and they are amazing! The sheets are ridiculously soft and the comforter is a perfect weight for summer Spring,Fall and I'm sure with an added blanket, Winter. I can't say enough how impressed I am with the color selection and overall quality in comfort. An absolute winner.Bought the oversized king and love it! It’s so soft and comfy. I’m usually always hot when I sleep and this doesn’t make me hot so that’s a huge plus. It’s heavy enough but still light and breathable.Nice quality for the price point. Comforter is nice and soft and is without flaws. The color is true black and it didn’t smell of chemicals when unpackaged. It fell across the bed nice and even. Important note: it has not been washed yet, so I may update this review after it has gone through the wash. It's comfortable, soft, and light. I'm used to big, thick, heavy comforters. I didn't think I'd like it at first, but 3rd night in and it's heavy to allow me to sleep. I do believe it's thin enough to actually fit in my washer. My old one was dry clean only.Very happy with the all around quality of this product for the price. Lovely piece that is soft, yet dense and warm.I’ve bought two of these comforters and love them! I only replaced my first one because my dog chewed holes in it. They’re perfectly warm but light, great color options, and a good price. 10/10 recommend. My partner is 6'4“, 260 lbs. When he rolls over with the blankets, there’s nothing l’est for me. Then comes this oversized comforter. Game changer. Always some left for me. At least a foot of overhang on the sides, which looks much nicer than standard king size comforter that look as they are floating atop the bed and not hiddind the sheets.Product seemed really nice at first. We then washed it so we could use it and it completely fell apart. There is fluff from the inside poking out from all over the place and the fluff inside has completely shifted all over.It now looks brutal and I definitely wouldn't put it on a bed anymore. This was just from a delicate cold water cycle. After one wash.Brutal quality. Don't waste your money.10 years never been able to share a blanket with the wife. Not only can we now but also have 3 dogs and still enough blanket to spare. So nice I bought 2 more for giftsAfter a good washer & dryer pass! , the comforter becomes floppy and it does not change color, a little bit too warm for the summer, it will be perfect for winter, it didn't smell awful when out of the plastic bag, very good quality for less than $100 Canadian and I recommended this comforter, receive it less than a week after ordering. WOW!After seeking out a lightweight comforter in this color, I was pleasantly surprised by this Bare Home comforter. Very well mage. soft but strong material. My cats nails don't harm it at all, HOWEVER, it is a bugger to catching, holding on to and showing cat hair, whereas my previous bright pink percale comforter didn't show it. I do really love the comforter though! I haven't washed it yet. Hopefully the hair won't grab on so much! Fingers crossed. I also sleep rather hot, so hopefully after washing, it won't be quite so warm! For those of you always cool. you shouldn't have any problem!
