After scouring the internet (for a few weeks), Amazon, Ebay and several other big-brand sites, I finally pulled the trigger and bought this set. My requirements? NO MICROFIBER! Real cotton, sateen weave, over 300 thread count and at least 14 inches deep.I only needed the fitted sheet, but finding one online proved to be tricky (not a lot of options) and expensive. I've read a ton of reviews on cotton sheets, and these seemed to have the best overall rating, so I gave them a try. I am pleasantly surprised after using them for some time now (2 months). They are most definitely 300 thread count, they are not silky soft (expected), but they are very smooth and the weave is very tight. After a wash or two they soften up a little, the sheets seem like they will last a long time. No traction bumps yet (wifey hates those!), and the color has not faded.Overall, for the price, this sheet set is exactly what we were looking for, minus the flat sheet and pillow cases (but we use them because they feel nice and fit our pillows well). If you have a thin mattress, they might be a little big, our mattress is 15" deep and we have a little extra fabric that we tuck under our mattress (not a big deal).I would recommend these to friends and family members because of the quality and price!
