I have about a dozen 'Korean mink' style blankets and while some are better than others this is one of the better ones (I have 3 of this particular one) . It's REALLY SOFT, thick and heavy but not so much that it's hard to carry or fold, little bulky and pricey but worth every penny . So far it has not shed like the nasty Sara ones do. Somehow it breathes so you don't sweat under it or curled up in it. Wash gentle cycle with gentle detergent and a scoop of baking soda, don't put in dryer, let it fully spin and lay flat, it dries fairly quickly. I dried my first one and it ended up a little matted/crunchy on one side so just be patient and let it air dry, it will be soft as new. Enjoy! My kids and I fight over them.
